Questions

Short questions. Straight answers.

Does it repaint? #

No. A signal locks in when the bar closes and never moves after that. The tester, bar replay, and live alerts all show the same trades.

Does it beat just holding? #

Sometimes. In markets with big drops it can, mostly by standing aside in them; in a smooth grind higher, holding often wins. The benchmark table on your chart shows you which, every time — see limitations for the full honest picture.

Can I test it before I trust it? #

Yes — that's the design. Add it to your chart and the Strategy Tester shows every past trade on your own feed; replay any week bar by bar. See adding Vektor in TradingView.

Does it predict the market? #

No. Nothing does. Vektor reads the trend that is already there and applies rules to it. Rules, not promises.

Which markets does it cover? #

Gold (XAUUSD) and Bitcoin (BTCUSD), each with its own tuned build — and nothing else. Details under supported markets.

How often does it trade? #

Roughly a signal every week or two per market, often less. Most days it is flat on purpose — see timeframes.

Do I need to pay TradingView too? #

The script runs fine on TradingView's free plan, tester and all. Alerts are the exception — TradingView requires its paid plan (Essential or higher) for script alerts. See alerts.

Can I automate it? #

You can route alert webhooks into your own tooling — every fill carries machine-readable details. Vektor itself never touches your money, and any automation you build is your responsibility. See webhooks & automation.

Can I use it on more than one chart or device? #

Yes. Access is granted to your TradingView account, so use it on as many of your own charts and devices as your TradingView plan allows.

Do I get updates? #

Yes — every improvement to the scripts is included in your subscription. When a build changes, it updates in place on your chart; there is never a separate upgrade to buy.

What happens if I cancel? #

You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, then it ends. Cancelling is self-serve at account.vektoralgo.com and takes a minute — see billing & cancellation.

Can I get my money back? #

Your first payment, yes: ask within 30 days and it comes back in full, on either plan. After that, Yearly is refunded prorated for the unused time; a Monthly renewal within 48 hours of the charge. Details in refunds.

Is there a community? #

Yes — an optional Discord where subscribers and the team talk markets, setups, and Vektor itself. It is a community, not a signal group: Vektor runs entirely on your own chart, and you never need to join anything to use it. Join the Discord if you like company while you trade.

Is this financial advice? #

No. Vektor is a technical-analysis tool and educational software; every trading decision is your own. The limitations page and risk disclosure say this in full.
