Supported markets

Gold and Bitcoin. That's the whole list.

Vektor is not a run-anything indicator. Each market gets its own build, tuned to how that market actually behaves — and the narrowness is the point.

The two markets

Two builds. Separately tuned.

Gold · XAUUSD

Long or flat only. The gold build also carries market-specific guards: new entries are limited to the London–New York session (overnight breakouts on gold are mostly noise), it declines fresh entries when volatility spikes to news-event extremes, and it offers an optional weekend flatten for CFD feeds that gap over the weekend. Exits are never blocked by any of these.

Bitcoin · BTCUSD

Long or flat, around the clock — Bitcoin trades 24/7 and the build runs on the daily chart. It carries an optional trend-regime filter for a smoother ride and an optional short side; both ship off by default so the behaviour you see in the tester is the behaviour you get. Settings detail on the settings page.

Symbols & data feeds

Any major feed. Small differences are normal.

Which symbol should I load? #

Any mainstream XAUUSD or BTCUSD feed works — for example OANDA:XAUUSD or BITSTAMP:BTCUSD. The script checks the symbol itself: load anything that isn't its market and the state table shows a ⚠ warning.

Why do two feeds show slightly different trades? #

Each broker or exchange prints slightly different highs, lows, and closes, so a close-based system can enter or exit a bar apart between feeds. That is expected. Pick one feed — ideally the one you actually trade on — and stay on it, so the history you backtest is the history you trade.

A note on gold CFDs and weekends #

Gold CFD feeds routinely gap on the Monday open. If you hold size over weekends on a CFD feed, know that an exit line cannot protect you through a gap — price can reopen far beyond it. The gold build's optional Friday flatten exists for exactly this.

Other markets

Stocks, forex, other coins? Not supported.

Can I run it on something else? #

TradingView won't physically stop you, but every number you have seen — the backtests, the honest envelope, the tuned defaults — applies to gold and Bitcoin only. On any other symbol you are running an untested configuration, the state table will warn you, and we can't support the results.

Will more markets be added? #

Only if a build earns its place the same way these two did — tuned, tested, and honest about its envelope. We would rather support two markets properly than ten markets badly. If that changes, subscribers hear about it first.
